The new Aston Martin DBX707 is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine hand-built by dedicated A-M craftspeople. It utilizes a 9-speed automatic "wet-clutch" transmission for exceedingly fast shifts. The engine produces 697 horsepower and 664 lb-ft of torque. That's an increase of 155 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque over the standard DBX. Launch control is aggressive and yields a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds. Power is via full-time all-wheel drive and can vary front to rear distribution up to 100-percent.
The DBX707 gets its superb handling thanks to a performance air suspension system. It builds upon an already stout suspension with a revised geometry making this SUV think it's a sportscar.

The driver is always in control inside the DBX707. Now featuring a revised lower control console, drivers can reach the drive mode selectors without entering a sub-menu as before. There are dedicated buttons to control suspension modes, manual gear selection modes that stay in manual until the driver switches back. There's even an active exhaust switch to deliver a throatier growl than before.
