Aston Martin DBX Interior Breakdown

The DBX is a 5-passenger SUV with plenty of room for passengers and plenty of cargo space for its size. This pure luxury SUV uses the finest wood, carbon fiber, and leather materials. Passengers are greeted with a massive panoramic sunroof that offers a great view for everyone inside. A 12.3-inch TFT driver information display and 10.25-inch central display create a futuristic feel to the driving experience. The center console provides the ability to alter your driving experience in some unique ways, such as special drive modes, manual gearbox mode, and suspension control.

DBX Interior Environments

The DBX interior is defined by premium materials along with an unbelievable amount of customization. Aston Martin has created several different ''environments'' that will alter whether there is a single (monotone) or dual tone (duotone) to the interior fabrics and dictate the seat design as well. You can get the CREATE environment in Mid Duotone, the ACCELERATE environment in Monotone or Sport Duotone, the INSPIRE environment, Monotone or Duotone. The INSPIRE Sport Duotone is exclusive to DBX 707. From there, you can customize almost every aspect of the interior, from stitching to carpet and trims. The only limit to the DBX's style is your imagination.

Aston DBX Engine

While there are plenty of luxury SUVs on the market with premium materials, few, if any, can keep up with the performance of a super SUV like the DBX. Both the V8 and 707 come standard with an all-alloy quad overhead cam, a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine with twin "hot-v" mounted turbo chargers, and a nine-speed automatic transmission. The DBX offers a dual-mode engine start, allowing the driver to start it in quiet mode for peaceful mornings or in sport mode to unleash the true sound of the powerful DBX engine.

Aston DBX 707 vs. DBX V8: Engine

Dubbed the most powerful SUV in the world, the 707 model boasts 697 horsepower and will propel you from a standstill to 60 mph in a blistering 3.1 seconds on its way to a recorded top speed of 193mph. The standard DBX V8, and I only say standard because it's not the 707, is no slouch either, with 542 hp and 0 to 60 in 4.3 seconds. While both variations use the same twin-turbo V-8 engine, the newer DBX 707 uses extreme-efficiency turbos with additional cooling to develop its incredible power.

  • DBX V8 Horsepower: 542 HP
  • DBX V8 torque: 516 lb-ft.
  • DBX V8 0-60 mph: 4.3 sec
  • DBX V8 Top Speed: 181mph
  • DBX 707 Horsepower: 697 HP
  • DBX 707 torque: 663 lb-ft
  • DBX 707 0-60 mph: 3.1 secs
  • DBX 707 top speed: 193 mph

Aston DBX Review Exterior

Anyone who loves the signature style of an Aston Martin will be thrilled with the new DBX's design. The DBX features Aston's iconic grille flanked by thin daytime running lights that outline air flow inlets. Together with Aston's signature headlights, you get an SUV that feels like it should be called a sports car. The rear of the DBX follows suit with a profile that follows the unique design of today's Aston Martins, with a kick-up tail and twin-tail pipes with bright chrome twin exhaust finishers. The DBX comes standard with 22-inch flow-forged aluminum rims, with plenty of available upgrades.

How big is the DBX?

The DBX dimensions are 198.4 inches long, 78.7 inches wide, and 66.1 inches high. It has a 120.5-inch wheel base.

Aston Martin Color Options: DBX

The DBX has an unbelievable amount of custom colors available, with 13 different black/grey variations, 10 purple/blue options, 11 different greens, 6 different reds, 5 different bronze/oranges, and 10 different silver/white options. These paints fall into different styles, such as Metallic, Premium Metallic, Racing Line, Q Satin, Q Special, Q Heritage, and Q Out of Range.

Aston Martin DBX 707 vs. DBX V8: Exterior

The key difference between the DBX 707 and DBX V8 is engine and performance, which we covered earlier. While many of the color and interior options are the same for both models, there are some key differences in the exterior. The DBX 707 features a larger front grill and horizontal daytime running lights that make the sporty SUV look even fiercer. The 707 adds dark satin chrome trim to the side and to the window trim, as well as a more sculpted profile. The 707 is finished off with a quad exhaust, a carbon-fiber rear spoiler, and a winged rear diffuser. Finally, the DBX 707 offers the exclusive AMR23 Pack, which adds Podium Green paint, Aston Martin Racing Green calipers, and lime green highlights.
